Molokini Snorkel Express

by Blue Water Rafting Duration 2h Features animals Free cancellation available No booking or credit card fees
per adult Price is $60

On a stable, inflatable raft, speed out to Molokini Crater for an hour of snorkel time. As the boat zips across the gentle waves, take in the views of neighboring islands, the rugged West Maui Mountains, and Mount Haleakalā—a dormant volcano.

Arrive at the crater just in time to see other tour boats depart, leaving you with ample space to explore this world-renowned snorkel and dive location. In protected waters, don high-end gear, take the plunge, and marvel at an underwater world full of vibrant colors and marine life. Drift over the outer reef, which is formed by the rim of the volcano, and see where the water goes from 2 to 200 feet (0.6–61 m) deep.

After more than an hour of water time, head back to the south Maui shores. During the winter months, keep your eyes peeled for majestic humpback whales.

The trip was canceled due choppy water. The instructor was very nice & very sorry for the inconvenience. However a call or heads up would of been nice we had to drive 45 mins to get to the location.

After a disappointing excursion where we saw only a few fish and no turtles, we got called back to the boat. I was next to last to get back on and I slipped and fell getting back in the boat. I have a huge bruise on my leg because I hit the metal seat directly next to the metal ladder. I was dissatisfied with the service and reaction of the crew who completely ignored that I was hurt and rushed me to get back on my feet which I could not do right away. Luckily I was traveling with my family who helped me to a seat and had brought ice which I needed for the pain and swelling. Again, the crew completely ignored me until it was time to anchor when the assistant asked me to “move my leg”. There are no nonskid mats and no one helps you get back in the boat. This is an Unsafe boat and inattentive crew. Would NOT recommend
