Depart for an early morning drive past five different mountain lakes to the idyllic Bernese Oberland. After a photo stop in the famous town of Interlaken, journey on to the charming mountain resort of Grindelwald. From the village center, take the aerial cableway up to Mt First, where many different summit attractions await you! Venture on the unique First Cliff Walk presented by Tissot and enjoy stunning views of the cliff face from the 40-metre long single-rope suspension bridge at dizzying heights.
Take a seat inside the cozy mountain restaurant or on its spacious terrace and treat yourself to a delicious Swiss meal or snack. Discover the favorite pastime of the Swiss and hike to picturesque Lake Bachalpsee (6 km / 1.5 – 2 hours return with a moderate incline). Rest on its shore and admire the reflection of the surrounding mountains in the crystal-clear mountain lake. Make your way back and enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain peaks and the Grindelwald Glacieralong the way.
Back at the cable car station, an exciting range of optional adventure activities with thrill guarantee awaits you. Take off on the gigantic First Flyer zip line or fly headfirst through the alpine landscape on the First Glider! Whizz through spectacular mountain scenery on a mountain cart and Trottibike scooter or take the cable car past grazing cows and typical Swiss chalets down to Grindelwald. Enjoy time at leisure to explore the glacier village before you take a public train back to Interlaken, where you meet your tour guide for the return trip in the late afternoon.
From April 2026: The train journey between Grindelwald and Interlaken will be replaced with a visit to the valley of Lauterbrunnen, famous for its dramatic cliffs and breathtaking waterfalls. From this date onward, the tour may also sometimes run in reverse order without prior notice. In this case, the first stop will be Lauterbrunnen, followed by Grindelwald, including the visit to First Mountain, and Interlaken.
