Description

Led by a local actor, this walking tour is a fun, interactive way to explore Boston's Movie Mile. Check out more than 30 memorable filming locations for movies and TV and learn fascinating stories behind them.

Begin your exciting journey at Boston Common, the 50-acre (20-ha) central park made famous back in 1997 by the TV series Ally McBeal. Sit on the park bench from Good Will Hunting and relive the heart-to-heart conversation between Robin Williams and Matt Damon.

Walk by the site of the car crash scene from Blown Away as your guide tells anecdotes from behind the scenes. Continue to one of Jack Nicholson's mob hangouts from The Departed or stop outside the brownstone house made famous in Parent Trap. Have a drink at Cheers in Beacon Hill and take a picture under the sign of one of the most famous TV bars.

Kristin was a great tour guide! She was super knowledgeable! I loved how she had her tablet to show us the actual scenes from the movies! We had a lot of fun! I would have liked the tour to include some of the TV shows that were filmed in Boston; like Boston Legal and the Suite Life of Zach and Cody. Overall, great experience; especially if you are a fan of the movies.

Dan was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very professional. Unfortunately, the iPad he used to show examples was scratched and difficult to see clearly. Otherwise, I enjoyed the tour and saw some areas of Boston I would not have seen. I appreciated the courtesy he showed to those who were lagging behind on the tour. He waited to speak until ALL members of the group were present.
