Each ship in the fleet is uniquely themed, complete with decorative cannons, wooden decks, and lavish interiors, adding a playful yet immersive touch to the journey. The calm, family-friendly ride typically lasts 30–40 minutes, offering countless photo opportunities and a relaxing way to enjoy Hakone’s natural and cultural wonders. You can choose to take the pirate ship from Motohakocho Port to Togendai Port at your own expense. The one-way trip takes about 30 minutes and costs 1,200 yen. You can also take our bus to Togendai Cable Car Station.
Hakone Ropeway

Experience the breathtaking journey aboard the Hakone Ropeway, a scenic cable car ride offering panoramic views of Japan’s natural beauty. Starting from Sounzan Station, the ropeway ascends over lush forests and dramatic landscapes, arriving at Owakudani, a volcanic valley famous for its steaming sulfur vents and the unique black eggs boiled in natural hot springs. As the gondola continues toward Togendai Station on the shores of Lake Ashi, travelers are treated to stunning aerial views of the lake and, on clear days, the iconic silhouette of Mount Fuji in the distance. The Hakone Ropeway Owakudani Station ~ Ubako Station ~ Togendai Station will be under maintenance from February 3 to February 21, 2025, and this line will be temporarily closed during this period. During this period, we will take the cable car line from Sounzan Station to Owakudani Station
Owaku-dani Valley
