Nestled between the North Shore mountains and picturesque beaches, Camp Erdman has been the backbone of Oahuās communities, empowering the youth for almost a century. Its continued endeavors aim to provide safe and stimulating programs, and cultural and environmental educational opportunities for local children and visitors alike.
On this adventure you will hike and learn about the history of the 20-acre YMCA Camp Erdman site, participate in Camp Erdmanās efforts to restore and preserve the environment by planting trees or removing invasive plants. By the end of the hike, youāll have stirred up an appetite and our Camp Erdman team will have ready and waiting your choice of a hot or cold lunch enjoyed at the exclusive beach access only for guests on this tour. And that's not all!
You will also have the option of visiting the historic Haleiwa Town, where you can indulge in refreshing shaved ice, and strolling through the many local eateries and shops. If shopping is not for you, we have another option for an adventure of either kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding in the Anahulu River.

- Exclusive Secret Beach*: Only with this tour will guests be able to access the exclusive beach at Kaena Point, North Shore where guests will have a relaxing picnic lunch as they bask in the sun, take a stroll on miles of white sandy beach or engage with the local guide. Sometimes youāll get lucky and find a seal or turtle making a visit on the beach or during whale season (Dec-Apr), you may see a whale breaching from a distance.
