What you can expect

History buffs, this one is for you. Our informative, passionate guides will lead you an unforgettable afternoon covering Nashville, State of Tennessee and national history.

Your tour starts at the Tennessee State Museum where you can explore on your own the most significant social, political, economic, and cultural events important to the history of the “Volunteer State.”

Your tour includes the stately manor of Andrew Jackson, The Hermitage. This was the home of our seventh President, and a favorite son of Tennessee. You’ll view the formal gardens, visit the slave quarters, the original 1804 cabin of the estate, and the site where our President and his wife were laid to rest.

Between the state museum and The Hermitage, you will drive through the Mount Olivet Cemetery, the city’s most famous cemetery and final resting place of prominent leaders from the city’s founding to present day
