      Know before you book

      • You must bring your passport or you won't be able to join the tour
      • The mountain train is closing one month every year around October - We will offer an alternative activity during this time
      • Be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the departure.
      • Take some comfortable shoes all around year and warm clothes in winter season

      What you can expect

      At 90 minutes from Geneva, discover the typical alpine village of Chamonix. At the foot of the highest mountain of Europe you might feel small. Once in Chamonix board for the mountain train of the Montenvers,

      You can choose between different options with the following activities:

      • Chamonix Guided Tour
      • Cable car Aiguille du Midi : Climb abroad at more than 3.800m to discover the breathtaking landscape ot the Alps.
      • Mountain train to visit “Mer de Glace” : enjoy the ride until the larger glacier of France: La Mer de Glace (The Ice sea).

      Once arrive you can enjoy the panorama on the glacier and you can also go down to the Ice Cave: The tour of the Grotte de Glace(Ice Cave) takes visitors into the very heart of the glacier. Re-sculpted every year, it describes the life of mountain people in the early 19th century. It can be entered either by a walk of around 20 minutes on a footpath, or by gondola lift. NB: There are about 480 steps from the arrival of the gondola lift to the entrance to the cave. After your visit take the train back to the village and enjoy your free time scrolling the charming little streets of Chamonix.
