Description

Cruise through the turquoise waters of the Bali Sea to reach a secluded island where horse-drawn carts are the only transportation and alluring sunsets are the evening's preferred entertainment. Spend the night on Trawangan Island and enjoy comfortable accommodation in the Ombak Sunset hotel.

Get picked up directly outside your Bali hotel and enjoy a comfortable ride to the waterfront, where you can board a sleek powerboat bound for the sun-soaked shores of Trawangan Island. When you arrive, grab your bag and hit the sand, keeping your eyes peeled for an open cidomo, a traditional horse-drawn cart that offers you a quaint ride to your room at the Ombak Sunset hotel.

Check in and drop off your things before donning a swimsuit and heading to the beach. Spend the afternoon soaking up some rays, grabbing a drink or a bite to eat at one of the many beachfront cafes, or seeking out an active excursion like bike riding, snorkeling, or scuba diving. Make sure to make time to relax and watch the sunset and then turn in for the night to the sounds of crashing waves.

Wake up and grab a tasty breakfast at the hotel before spending a few final moments soaking up the tranquil beach atmosphere. When your return boat arrives, hop on and grab a seat on the outside deck to get picture-perfect views of Bali as it comes back into view, ready for you to return and continue exploring on your own.

This was the worst excursion I have ever booked through Expedia and I frequently purchase them. It was so bad I will be contacting Expedia when I'm back in the US. The tour guide company gave us the wrong information regarding the boat drop off and pick up time which resulted in us having to change our plans we had made and caused a lot of issues which made this trip completely unenjoyable. The hotel was switched last minute due to earthquake damage (which is totally understandable) but the supposed "sister hotel" we stayed in had mouse droppings on the bed, all over the bathroom, as well as spider webs in every corner like it hadn't been cleaned in days (maybe weeks!). What a total health hazard to be sleeping in such conditions as mouse droppings are not safe and with the amount paid for the trip, totally unacceptable! I do not recommend this trip to anyone! Save your money! You can book the boat trip and a better hotel for half the amount. Absolutely ridiculous!
