Spend the day at the Polynesian Cultural Center for an intimate cultural immersion into ancient Pacific Island life. Explore fascinating replicas of 7 different Polynesian villages, feast on a prime rib and seafood buffet, and revel in the sights and sounds of an incredible live show.

Begin your journey with the islands of Samoa, where you sit alongside natives dressed in “lava-lava”, or sarongs, and watch as they climb 40-foot (12-m) trees to retrieve coconuts, using only a loin cloth – no nets or safety harnesses. Next, enter the Islands of Aotearoa and listen to the Maori natives—covered with body and face tattoos—explain how the markings symbolize coming of age within their New Zealand tribe.

Just steps away are the Fiji Islands equipped with a large range of weaponry that Fijian warriors used during warfare, including engraved clubs believed to possess magical powers. Stop by Hawaii for cheerful hula dancing, or head to Tahiti to learn the art of making shell leis.

After your day of discovery, grab a seat and indulge in a sumptuous buffet of juicy prime rib and seafood. Sit in a prime spot to watch Ha: Breath of Life—a captivating show of Polynesian music, dance, and pageantry—and clap along as the last of the flaming knives are thrown,, witness a captivating performance of walking on fire using only natural traditional garb – no gimmicks or special effects,

Amazing place, it was hampered by an inexperienced guide. Having said that it should be a must go to if you are visiting Oahu.

Wonderful show, guide and fantastic prime rib/crab dinner. We got the Ambassador tickets. Definitely worth it! Not enough time allotted to see all six cultures. Only got to see 3. So much to learn and see.
