Get off the beaten path and avoid the crowds as you explore some of Prague's coolest neighbourhoods that are virtually unknown to tourists! On this Prague food tour, you'll get to taste everything from wood-fired bakes to homemade digestives and hear tales of local life you won't find in any Prague guide. You'll get plenty of local recommendations and an inside track on the city's culinary and cultural life from a true Prague resident. And don't forget your camera, there'll be some amazing picture opportunities on the way!
We'll kick off our culinary journey by trying out a brand-new restaurant that offers a contemporary twist on Czech cuisine. While strolling through a vibrant neighborhood in Prague outside of the city center, we'll discover that these areas are also worth exploring and learning about. By the end of the walk, you'll likely be ready for another bite to eat!
Not to worry, soon enough we'll be seated in a modern bistro, sipping on locally brewed craft beer and enjoying some delicious pulled pork. We might even take a peek at the adjacent brewery to learn about the area's history and our love for beer.
Continuing along an old and possibly dusty path, we'll pause to sample a digestive drink from a family-owned, all-natural distillery that uses plums from the environmentally protected White Carpathians region. It's a genuine taste of the Moravia region.
Our next destination is just a short stroll away, and we don't want to keep it waiting. This restaurant/bakery earned the Bib Gourmand distinction in the 2017 Michelin Guide, and for good reason! It's a foodie's paradise, with a focus on homemade and homegrown ingredients, fermentation, wood-fired baking, and roasting, as well as natural foods and herbs. You'll be blown away by the flavors!
We'll make a brief stop at one of the top bakeries in the neighborhood to get some koláče, a popular Czech pastry. You may have tasted them before, but trust us, you've never had them
P. S. You should come hungry for this tour, you're not here to lose weight…
