      What you can expect

      Leave your hotel in the morning and head down motorway BR101 about 56 miles (90 km) to the town of Tibau do Sul, where you encounter one of the Brazilian coastline's most popular attractions. Pipa Beach's stunning beauty and quiet charm earned it a spot on CNN's list of Brazil's top 8 beaches in 2013.

      The environment surrounding Pipa is a dazzling combination of cliffs and preserved forest called Mata Atlântica, a different type of forest than the Amazon Rainforest that exists along some parts of the Brazilian coast.

      Stop at Cacimbinhas Beach for swimming and a walk through the village of Pipa to peruse the quaint shops. The beaches of Amor (Love) and Baia dos Golfinhos (the Bay of Dolphins) can be reached by walking when the tide is right.
