In only a few hours explore the best sites in Sabah's capital city with the expertise of a professional guide. Venture to the towering Menara Tun Mustapha building, learn about indigenous history and culture at the Sabah Museum, and appreciate stunning views from the Signal Hill observation deck.

Depart from your hotel and set off to discover the major landmarks in the city center. One prominent feature in the capital that is sure to not be missed is the Menara Tun Mustapha, or Sabah Foundation Building. The second-tallest building on the island of Borneo stands at 400 feet (122 meters). As you explore downtown, you also see the Pottery Center, University of Sabah, and the State and City mosques.

Next you visit the Sabah Museum to learn about indigenous culture and history. The impressive complex also contains a zoo, ethnobotanic garden, and a heritage village. Continue on to Signal Hill for a quick chance to appreciate the bird's-eye view of the city below and neighboring islands. If time permits, your last stop is a quick shopping trip at a handicraft market before returning to your hotel.
