What you can expect

If you are a first-time visitor to Kuala Lumpur, this tour is a must. Admire the beauty and charm of the old and new Kuala Lumpur, Garden City of Lights, as you see the contrast of the magnificent skyscrapers and buildings from the colonial days.

Snap a photo of Petronas Twin Towers and the king’s palace. Admire the National Monument, National Museum, and Sultan Abdul Samad Building, stop for a photo at the National Mosque, and enjoy lunch at a restaurant. Before heading to Batu Caves, visit Little India, the outskirt township of Brickfields, a colorful modern Malaysian-Indian community.

Venture to Batu Caves, a massive limestone outcrop with its interior dominated by a sacred Hindu shrine lined with deities, located deep inside high caverns which take 272 steps to reach. Outside the caves marvel at the 141-foot (43-m) tall golden statue of Lord Murugan. Visit a nearby Batik factory, a traditional Malaysian batik, to see how batik is printed or hand-drawn using wax and dye. Final stop is Royal Selangor Visitor Centre where the finest Malaysian Pewters are crafted.
