Veluwe national park: Welcome to the most visited national park in the country. Spread over 14000 acres, expect to see Sand dunes, Woodlands, and plenty of flora. There is enough wildlife (The big 4 being the Red Deer, Roe Deer, Wild Boar, and Mouflon) present in the park. The park offers free bicycles which can be used on different routes. With prior reservation, the Hunting Lodge can be visited as well as the world-renowned Kroller Muller museum. The park has enough cafes/restaurants so you don't have to worry about running out of food.
We drive to the park which takes about 75 minutes. You can use one of the white bicycles (choose from over 2000 bicycles) or walk around to explore the park. The park has several routes where you can bicycle or walk for hours.
Kroller Muller Museum ( Closed on Mondays except for the month of July and August). Generally featured in the top museums of the Netherlands, Kroller Muller Museum is a modern and contemporary art museum and is home to over 20,000 art collections. It has the second-largest collection of Van Gogh and houses work from Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, and Piet Mondrian, among others. We drive back to Amsterdam/ Utrecht, which takes about 75 /60 minutes.
