Located on the west coast of Reunion Island in La Saline-les-Bains, the Reunion Surf School now offers surfing lessons on the waters south of the Saint-Gilles lagoon. Something to please all those looking for an adrenaline rush!
Your instructor will meet you at the Saint-Leu spot to brief you on the activity and, above all, to check that the shark watchers are keeping a close eye on the waters of Saint-Leu beach. Indeed, the shark risk is always present in Reunion Island: if there is not enough visibility on the ocean or if the shark watchers are absent, the surf lesson cannot be provided and must be postponed, or replaced by a stand-up paddle activity in the Saint-Gilles lagoon. Your safety is the most important thing, just like your enjoyment of surfing in Reunion Island in optimal conditions!
So, if all the weather and safety conditions are right, you can hop on your surfboard and conquer the waves of the island's west coast! Your qualified and experienced instructor will be there to guide and advise you so that you can improve your skills in this thrilling sport. You can choose whether you prefer to participate in a group class (up to 8 students) or a private one-on-one with the instructor.
Whether you're a beginner or a long-time surfing enthusiast, come and discover the pleasure of surfing in Reunion along the coast of Saint-Leu!
