Fly through an ancient forest on Rotorua’s longest zipline, a 400-metre tandem ride where you can race side-by-side at up to 80km/h. This is the Ultimate Canopy Tour - Rotorua’s most thrilling and immersive zipline adventure!
Set in a stunning native forest, this fully guided 3-hour experience is packed with thrills, scenery, and connection to a wild place few get to explore. You’ll complete six unique ziplines, each offering new views and adrenaline-pumping fun, with platforms up to 25 metres high and massive forest spans between them.
But the excitement doesn’t stop with epic ziplines!
You’ll take on New Zealand’s only volcanic cliff walk, built into ancient rock formed over 250,000 years ago. You’ll climb a three-storey floating staircase, cross swing bridges suspended high in the canopy, and reach out across panoramic views of the forest and get a peek at Lake Rotorua. Every element is designed to surprise, delight, and make you feel alive - no matter your adventure level.
You’ll be guided every step of the way by two friendly, professional guides who manage all safety gear and help you feel confident from the first step to the final zip. They’re experts at balancing fun, reassurance, and storytelling - making this experience equally perfect for first-timers and seasoned adventurers.
Throughout the journey, you’ll encounter an ancient native forest that’s teeming with life thanks to years of careful restoration.
