Arrive at Linderhof Palace, a spectacular Rococo estate set amid manicured formal gardens and fountains. Inspired by Versailles, this gem-like castle features its own Hall of Mirrors. Hear about King Ludwig's visions of grandeur, and why this castle was the only one the “Swan King” ever saw completed.

Continue on to the town of Oberammergau where we only passing through by Bus a jewel-box village perched in the Bavarian Alps before to drive drive to Neuschwanstein Castle. This incredible Romanesque Revival palace balances high atop a rugged hill, on the former ruins of 2 medieval castles. Spend a full 4 hours at the castle, where King Ludwig imagined himself living out his luxurious version of a Middle Ages lifestyle, before beginning the journey back to Munich.
