You’ll be picked up from your hotel and driven to Fumba, located on Zanzibar’s southwest coast, just a 40-minute drive from Stone Town. The trip starts with a boat cruise around the area in search of dolphins, where you’ll have the chance to snap photos (swimming with them is not part of the trip). Next, you’ll head to a sandbank, where you’ll spend most of your time snorkeling among the stunning coral reefs. At lunchtime, you’ll take a boat to Kwale Island for a delicious barbecue lunch, followed by a dessert of seasonal Zanzibar fruits. After your meal, you can unwind on the beach. You’ll also have the option to enjoy a traditional dhow sail or take a stroll to see the ancient leaning baobab tree. Before heading back, you’ll have the opportunity to swim in the warm lagoon. Finally, you’ll sail back to Fumba, where your vehicle will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
