Description

Admire the rugged beauty of the Sierra Nevada and brush up on your photography skills during a guided tour of Lake Tahoe. Under the guidance of a skilled professional photographer this tour takes you to the best locations in Lake Tahoe.

After your friendly guide picks you up from your hotel, the awe-inspiring sights begin. Behold the snowcapped summit of Mount Tallac while you admire the amazing views of Lake Tahoe. Your first stop is one of the most photographed locations in the world “Emerald Bay”. Emerald Bay is a photographer's and non-photographers paradise. Enjoy the reflective properties of the still water to capture photos you never thought possible and drink in the beauty of the glaciated scenery. We visit Kiva Beach which is a wildlife sanctuary and eagle sanctuary. Hope to catch sight of a golden eagle darting after breakfast or a black bear catching Kokanee Salmon at Taylor Creek.

Continuing on we visit the spectacular Sugar Pine Point. Home of the 24 inch pine cones. At Sugar Pine Point you will be amazed at the Ehrman Mansion Castle. See the cabin built in 1872 by William Phillips. He was the first settler in Lake Tahoe after the Washoe Indians.
