Discover a diversity of works at the Seattle Art Museum—a hub for visual arts in the Pacific Northwest since 1933. After skipping the ticket line, roam light-filled galleries as you experience art that celebrates the local and the global, the urban and the natural, and the identity of a region at the crossroads of east and west.
Located just a block from the bustle of Pike Place Market, the Seattle Art Museum (SAM) features art from the Northwest and around the world. Wander past modern and contemporary pieces, explore European and American galleries, and travel the globe as you admire Australian Aboriginal, Asian, African, and Ancient Mediterranean works.
After exploring the art indoors, make your way to SAM's award-winning Olympic Sculpture Park, a 9-acre stretch of waterfront green space dotted with contemporary sculpture. It's free and open from sunrise to sunset.
