The Globe Theater is home to the world’s largest exhibition dedicated to England’s most famous poet. Step back into late 16th-century Elizabethan London and partake in an engaging and interactive tour of history and secrets from Shakespeare’s era.

Standing on the River Thames’ southern banks is a modern and faithful replica of the open-air playhouse originally built in 1599. Join a local storyteller-guide on a fascinating journey through the auditorium. Be entertained by anecdotes that bring the theater to life along with colorful stories of the original venue, and how its modern incarnation works today as an experimental and imaginative theatrical space.

Beneath the theater discover the exhibition that explores the undeniable influence of William Shakespeare’s work on art and history. Discover how plays were produced, browse the extravagant collection of costumes, or add your voice to a scene recorded by actors.

Upgrade your experience with A Midsummer Night’s Dream Afternoon Tea, which is inspired by the play and worthy of the fairy queen herself. The menu is made up of a collection of sweet and savory delights, many of which can be traced back to the food and characters seen in the play itself.

This was really one of the best tour in London. Our tour guide was so enthusiastic it made the whole experience special.

Claimed it was a 2 hour tour when in fact it only lasted 30 minutes and primarily consisted of us watching the cast warm up playing volleyball and to be perfectly honest that was the highlight of the tour. The tour guide was very dry and lacked enthusiasm and passion for Shakespeare. I wpild Not recommend any one visit here. Not worth the money, not educational and a waste of time.
