Discover Mexico's culture through the rich flavors and traditional recipes of the country's cuisine in this hands-on cooking class. Learn about culinary techniques and local ingredients as you prepare a 4-course meal under the guidance of a professional chef.

Make your way to downtown Puerto Morelos, a port town near Cancun, and hop in a shuttle for the quick ride to Mexico Lindo Cooking School. Learn to prepare traditional Mexican dishes, particularly Yucatan delights. Start with sopa de lima (lime soup) and 2 essentials of Mexican cuisine: black beans and fresh tortillas.

Then, continue with the Yucatan classic cochinita pibil, a main course of slow-roasted pork seasoned with achiote, a peppery spice used to give the pork its characteristic red hue. Bake a pan de elote (cornbread sweetened with condensed milk) for dessert, and use a mortar and pestle to mash up an appetizer of sikil pak, a creamy dip made of pumpkin seed and habanero chilis.
