      Hang Glider Launch and Lookout
      • 15m
Hang Gliders Tamborine Mountain is one of the most breathtaking lookout points on the mountain. Perched high on the western escarpment and just off Main Western Road, this open launch site offers sweeping views across the Scenic Rim and out towards the Great Dividing Range. On days with the right conditions, the sky comes alive as hang gliders and paragliders run, leap and soar into the air, drifting effortlessly on the mountain thermals. It is an unforgettable sight to watch these colourful wings float silently above the valley, set against the backdrop of endless rolling hills and big open skies. Whether you are here for the thrill of the take-off or simply to soak up the views, this is one of Tamborine’s most spectacular stops and a favourite for both locals and visitors.
      Natural Bridge
      • 1h 10m
      • Admission ticket included
Whilst in the Springbrook National Park we travel through the Numinbah Valley with its valleys, escarpments and forests until we reach the Natural Bridge Section. Take an hours walk through the magnificent rainforest to Cave Creek where we will see the waterfall tumble into the Cave below.
      Hinze Dam
      • 30m
Hinze Dam is not only an important water source, it is also a haven for wildlife. Around the lake and in the surrounding bushland you can often spot kangaroos and wallabies grazing in the open spaces. Koalas are also found here, usually high up in the eucalyptus trees, resting during the day or slowly moving from branch to branch. The forests are also home to possums, bandicoots and the occasional echidna. Birdlife is especially rich. You might see eagles soaring overhead, black swans and cormorants gliding across the lake, or brightly coloured lorikeets and king parrots in the treetops. The dam also attracts a variety of waterbirds such as pelicans, herons and ducks. Reptiles are part of the ecosystem too, with lizards basking on rocks and turtles resting along the edges of the lake. At night the area comes alive with frogs and the sounds of nocturnal animals echoing through the forest.
