Your tour begins outside of Reverend Zombie’s House of Voodoo, a unique shop that sells spiritual and occult-related items. Meet your guide and make your way toward the venerable St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 on the edge of the French Quarter, while your guide explains how the above-ground tombs found here were constructed to showcase the deceased’s wealth.

While there are 3 cemeteries in this area with the same name, St. Louis No. 1 is the oldest and most famous, housing the remains of the departed since 1789. Stella was great. A very interesting and informative tour of the cemetery. A lot of history and stories included with not only the cemetery but also how they buried the bodies and how when the rain and floods came how the bodies would float down the street. Well worth the money.
