Know before you book

  • Due to the level of effort and difficulty involved in the tour, it is not advisable for overweight individuals, pregnant women, individuals with diseases that may pose a risk during the journey.
  • Not wheelchair accessible.
  • Vegetarian menu available with prior reservation.
  • Hotel pickup is available from most centrally located hotels. Please arrange pickup when you call to confirm your reservation. If your hotel is outside the pickup area we will assign you the closest meeting point.
  • The schedule may vary by up to one hour between winter and summer.

What you can expect

Around 5 p.m., we will pick you up from your hotel in downtown Mendoza and take you to Puesto Los Amigos, located just 20 minutes away from the city.

Once there, our professional riders and guides will provide a safety briefing before we begin the ride.

For two hours, we will horseback ride through the mountains on gentle horses, reaching an altitude of 1200 meters above sea level. We will enjoy the tranquility of the area and even have the chance to spot condors and Andean eagles that inhabit the mountain range.

At the end of the ride, a complete Argentine barbecue will be waiting for us at the outpost, featuring the finest beef, grilled vegetables, and salads, all accompanied by typical Mendocinian wine and non-alcoholic beverages.

The evening concludes with everyone gathering around a bonfire to enjoy a “guitarreada” with traditional songs.

We will then return you to your hotel in Mendoza.
