Explore the Flavors and Sights of Silves and Monchique Mountains! Discover the history of orange production in Silves on a guided tour. Begin with a visit to a local orange grove. The visit includes picking fresh oranges and tasting orange juice and orange jam.

We then continue our journey to Silves, the old capital of the Algarve. Enjoy free time to visit the Moorish Castle, considered the finest military monument from the Islamic period in Portugal, and the Gothic Cathedral (entry fees not included).
On the way to the mountains, we stop for lunch in a typical restaurant.

Enjoy a panoramic stop at Fóia, the highest point in the Algarve, located in the Monchique mountains. Here, you'll have the chance to sample our regional “Medronho” firewater and delicious local honey with Protected Designation of Origin, offered by a local producer.
