Day 1: Check-in in your Apartment or Hotel after 1pm, meet the Chef, quick Tour of Bologna Historic Center, Aperitive and Dinner at the Cibo Bistro.

Day 2, 3 and 4: After Breakfast meet at the Culinary Institute of Bologna in Via Agamennone Zappoli 5 40126 Bologna at 8:30am then take an historical tour on route to the Bologna market area with the Chef where you’ll decide what to prepare in the kitchen and shop at the market stands. After strolling and sampling through the market and purchasing ingredients, you return to the school and the culinary adventure begins.You will be preparing 2 delicious, complete granny’s meals, one for Lunch and one for Dinner, including Handmade Pasta using a 38 inch long Mattarello (rolling pin). At 1.30pm you’ll enjoy Lunch with what you cooked and after you’ll have a few hours to relax. Afternoon: you now have a choice between 3.5 hours of Cooking at the School or a Walking Tour of the Bologna City Center with your Chef/Guide: Piazza Maggiore and Piazza Re Enzo, Piazza Santo Stefano, the shopping Porticos of Archiginnasio and Via Farini, and many other Historic and Foodie destinations according to your choice. At 6pm you’ll be back at the Cooking School and you’ll be preparing Dinner as what you’ve planned in the morning at the Market with the Chef.

Day 5: Balsamic Vinegar Tour and Cooking at the Acetaia: meet at the Culinary Institute of Bologna at 8.30, go shopping to the market with the chef and visit the vinegary “La Cà dal Non” (in English “Grandfather’s House”) where Mariangela and her family will lead you to the discovery of the fascinating world of Traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena aged over 12 and 25 years. Here, after the visit we will be preparing a delicious meal using Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena sweet and sour condiment collection as main thread.

Day 6: Day-trip to Venice: Begin your adventure at 9am in Bologna. Your chef/instructor will accompany you on a quick ride and you will arrive in Venice by 11:00 am. Through the picturesque Venetian canals we will shortly arrive at the stoned Piazza of the famous Rialto Seafood Market where we will enjoy Prosecco Aperitives and Lunch at 2 typical venetian Bacaro (Osteria).

Day 7:

Breakfast, Check-out, Cooking Class and Lunch.
