Would you like to hike to the top of the Dodecanese? With an altitude of 1215m the Kali Limni is the tallest mountain in the Dodecanese islands of Greece and it’s located on Karpathos! Walking up from Lastos we start seeing different views at different heights. At some parts of the hike you’ll find that the path is made out of stones and it feels like an obstacle walk. However, the path is pretty good and it’s more the steepness that will be your challenge. Especially on the way back down again! Once we reach the top you can claim your victory by letting your guide take a picture of you with the famous cross. The view is simply stunning. You can spot the airport all the way in the south, but also the north, east and west are visible from up here. Do keep in mind that you can only see these views from the top if it’s a sunny and not a cloudy day.
