We will start the tour by driving to RjĆŗkandi waterfall in Jƶkuldalur, where there is a short and accessible walk up to the waterfall. From there we will go to StuĆ°lagil, on the east side of JƶkulsĆ”.
Studlagil canyon

StuĆ°lagil is one of the largest and most beautiful rock formations in the country and has extremely photogenic scenery. Especially when the water in the river is clear but at the beginning of August the river changes from turquoise to greyish, when there is an overflow at HĆ”lslĆ³n by KĆ”rahnjĆŗkar. Just over half an hour easy walk to the gorge where we will take time to enjoy the nature and snacks. The total time at StuĆ°lagil is about 2-3 hours.
