Christmas like it used to be. We take many of our current customs for granted. The festival can no longer be imagined without a Christmas tree and a nativity scene. The “newfangled phenomena” include Advent wreaths and Advent calendars. The cuisine typical of the Christmas season also has its exciting stories. We enjoy the atmospheric of the pre-Christmas season with small samples and a cup of mulled wine.
