Day 1: Unveiling the Mysteries of Luxor and Aswan
Your adventure begins at 06:00 AM, when our representative will meet you at your hotel in Luxor. From there, we’ll whisk you away to Aswan, the gateway to Africa’s ancient secrets. Our first stop is the awe-inspiringPhilae Temple, a tribute to the Goddess Isis, the island’s primary deity.
After paying homage to the goddess, we’ll treat you to a delightful lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan.
Then, proceed to visit the Unfinished Obelisk which shows the techniques used by the ancient Egyptians to cut obelisks. Most probably this obelisk belongs to Queen Hatshepsut, one of the rulers of the 18th Dynasty and the royal wife of King Tuthmosis II. This queen was the owner of her Temple in the Eastern Bank of Luxor tmple which was built in honor of Goddess Isis the, chief deity of the island. Also, there is an opinion which says that it belongs to Queen Nefertiti. and transfer to your hotel in Aswan.
Day 2: A Day with the Gods at Abu Simbel Rise and Shine
At 03:30 AM for an early breakfast at your hotel before we set off for the magnificent Temples of Abu Simbel. These architectural marvels, unique in their design, are the epitome of ancient Egyptian grandeur. Reflecting the glory of the New Kingdom, these temples were saved from flooding through the combined efforts of the Egyptian government and UNESCO.
The Great Temple of Ramsses II, also known as The Sun Temple, is dedicated to the universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and Ramesses II himself. Adjacent to it is the Temple of Queen Nefertari, also known as the Temple of Hathor, the wife of the Sun God. Symbolically, these two temples unite Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor, and the Sun God as one.
After a morning spent in the company of gods, we’ll head to a local restaurant in Aswan for a well-deserved lunch. Enjoy some free time at leisure before we journey back to your hotel in Luxor.
