What you can expect

The tour begins in the market square, flanked by the grand City Hall and the tall Nieuwe Kerk, where you’ll learn why Delft became one of the most important cities in Dutch history. Along the way, we’ll pass many old houses, quiet canals, local pubs, and hidden gems, with plenty of stories about famous scientists, painters, and princes who shaped this town and the whole country. Expect some surprising facts and tips most Delvenaars don't even know.

Then after a short transfer, you will enter Royal Delft — the only remaining 17th-century pottery factory still making authentic Delft Blue. You’ll walk through the museum and factory floor, see the painters at work, and discover how this iconic product became one of the Netherlands’ most prized exports.

You’ll leave knowing more about Delft than most locals — and perhaps with a hand-painted Delft Blue souvenir in your bag.
