Animal lovers, discover your happy place at WILD LIFE Hamilton Island, an Australian park that brings you up-close to the country's most popular creatures. Spend a day petting domesticated dingoes, come in close contact with a crocodile, and chat with colorful cockatoos.
Step inside this animal oasis, located in the Whitsunday Islands amid tropical greenery and crystal-clear waters. Here, you can meet all the furry residents of WILD LIFE, who—like their human friends—have unique personalities of their own. For insight into the Land Down Under's mammals, marsupials, and macropods, join a licensed park keeper on a journey that takes you to see koalas, wallabies, and kangaroos.
Grab a bite in the Koala Café if you'd like, and then head out for more animal adventure. The afternoon tour is all about reptiles and birds, even giving you access to some of Australia's most formidable creatures. Start slow with an intro to Freddie the Talking Cockatoo, and then work your way up to slithering snakes Cleo and Medusa. In the warmer months, McCulloch the Saltwater Crocodile is the star of the show. Watch as his keeper feeds him croc-approved treats like frogs and fish, and consider posing for a photo with a cuddly koala before you leave.

The staff were amazing. I didn’t pre book the koala cuddles or the reptile show but they managed to squeeze me in at the last minute. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
