What you can expect

Experience the best of England as you explore the grounds of Windsor Castle, a sprawling stone estate that’s been home to the royal family for 900 years. Circle around the prehistoric monument of Stonehenge as you listen to theories behind its use, and stroll through the idyllic campuses in Oxford.

From central London, you’ll travel to Windsor Castle, which rests high about the River Thames. Approach the enormous castle by ambling down the Long Walk, revelling in the impressive views of the seemingly never-ending ramparts. Head inside to visit the lavish State Apartments furnished with extravagant pieces, and stop by St George’s Chapel, a beautiful medieval church where Queen Elizabeth II is laid to rest.

Next, make your way to the ancient archeological site of Stonehenge, a prehistoric monument where gigantic boulders are stacked upon one another in a circular formation. Resting above a fertile valley, these magnanimous stones have puzzled generations, as their exact use is still unclear thousands of years later.

Conclude your tour in the city of Oxford, a gorgeous college town that boasts a vast amount of stunning English architecture. Follow your guide on a walking tour of the city, passing Trinity College, the Sheldonian Theatre, and the newly renovated Ashmolean Museum. Stop by Divinity School, whose ornate chambers were used in the Harry Potter films. As your tour comes to an end, it’s time to return to London.
