Explore the beautiful surrounding area, cross Lake Zurich by ferry, and ride a cable car to Felsenegg with stunning views of the city and snow-capped Alps.

Your multilingual guide shares interesting facts about the biggest city of Switzerland on this extended city tour. Enjoy the drive in a comfortable, air-conditioned coach passing by the castle-like National Museum, the shopping avenue Bahnhofstrasse, Zürich's famous financial district and the renowned Opera House. Stop at the harbor and snap a few photos of the beautiful view of Lake Zurich, the city, and surrounding hills.

As you tour the university quarter spot the famous Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), where Albert Einstein was a professor. Reach the charming Old Town for your next picture stop. Introduction stroll through the pleasant pedestrian area with view of the patriarchal guild houses, St. Peter church with Europe's largest clock-face, the “Grossmünster” church and the “Fraumünster” church with the stained glass windows by Marc Chagall. Heading out of the city, the journey continues along the “Gold Coast” to Meilen.

Trip wasn’t worth the price. The stops to the specific sites were short or drive bys. Wouldn’t recommend this trip. You are better offf visiting these sites on your own so you can at least take a few pics .

It was an okay tour with only the outside view of the surroundings. The train, the cable car and the ferry rides were nice. The views from the top of the hills were great.

This was a great half-day outing at the start of my Zurich visit to identify available sites to explore in and outside the city. The cable car ride was enjoyable.
