The Palace Museum in Beijing, China, was established on October 10, 1925, and is a directly affiliated bureau level institution under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China. It is a large-scale comprehensive museum established on the basis of the Ming and Qing imperial palaces and their collections, integrating ancient architectural complexes, palace collections, and cultural arts from various dynasties. The Palace Museum in Beijing covers an area of over 1 million square meters and preserves about 9000 ancient buildings, making it the largest and most well preserved ancient palace complex in China. It is also the largest ancient cultural and artistic museum in China. It is a gathering place of excellent traditional Chinese culture.

Tiananmen Square, located on East Chang'an Avenue in Dongcheng District, Beijing, has undergone multiple modifications and changes, ultimately forming a large square with a length of 880 meters from north to south and a width of 500 meters from east to west, covering an area of 440000 square meters. Temple of Heaven Park, formerly known as "Temple of Heaven and Earth", is located at No. 7 Dongli, Temple of Heaven, Dongcheng District, Beijing. It was first built in the 18th year of the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty (1420) and renamed "Temple of Heaven" in the 9th year of the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty (1530). It was a place for emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to "worship heaven" and "pray for valleys", with a total area of 273 hectares. It is the largest surviving ancient sacrificial architecture complex in China. On January 1, 1918, it was designated as Temple of Heaven Park and opened to the public.
