Know before you book

  • Hotel pickup transportation is made with a driver, on a bus or minibus, previous to tour start time depending on your hotel location (normally between 07am to 09am). The driver will take you to the meeting point where your guide will receive you and start the tour.

Explore the Ria Formosa’s labyrinth of canals, islands, and sandbanks, stretching along 60 km of the Algarve coast. This wetland is a crucial natural environment for both wildlife and the local “Olhanenses” who enjoy its stunning barrier islands and pristine beaches.

Be a local for the day by taking the ferry to Culatra Island, where you can relax on its spectacular beach. Enjoy a delicious lunch featuring freshly grilled fish and local clams. On your return trip, take in the scenic views of the Ria Formosa on the local ferry.
