"This is right in the middle of Lapa party district and for $30 for a Friday night during Carnival, I appreciate that it is cheap, however, some things are just completely unacceptable. When I checked into my room which the cleaners were just leaving I found a good sized room with fridge, twin beds, a wardrobe and TV and a good sized bathroom. "This hotel was in such a bad, dirty neighborhood. It was super dangerous at night. The hotel is very run down and needs many, many repairs. There were sometimes no toilet paper in the bathrooms. The room itself was so small it was hard to move around in. I could touch both walls with my hands and I am 5’2”! There was no air conditioning or WiFi. There was a tiny, old fan blowing very little air. The staff was pretty nice and helpful though. "

The place itself is very well located, but the bunkers are not very solid and are made from light wood (I was on the top one and all night waking up because every time the guest underneath me moved, the whole bed moved too). "I was only there for two nights. They did a good job of letting me in and out of the building. They also let me store my belonging while I waited for check-in. That was very nice. The bathrooms weren't ideal. The part that I really struggled with was the horrible beds and the bugs that were everywhere while I slept. I probably got about twenty bug bites while staying in that hostel. "
