"Breakfast excellent. Service was great. Location great. Hotel is having updates so my only complaint is the elevator which only one was working and sometimes five minute wait. "

"We stayed here 3 nights for the 2024 eclipse, it was really affordable, and met my expectations for a motel. The room was outdated with peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, wobbly chairs, and an AC that needed a new filter (the indicator light was lit), but none of these were a huge deal since the room was clean and we were only in the motel to sleep / eat. The included breakfast options were sparse, but also not a big deal since we brought non perishables and there were a few microwaves...

"Despite to dumpy and sketchy look from the outside and entry, the room was surprisingly adequate. Clean, nice shower, refrig, tv, wifi, comfortable bed and warm. Very quiet too. A pool and hit tub and breakfast across the street we're good. This is a budget motel, so don't expect 5 star anything. If you only need a nice room at an affordable price, this can work."

We are regular guests at the Hungry Trout and love the atmosphere and the changes & updates to this property that occur each time we return. "It’s renovated and clean property, however if you are in the first floor prepare to hear every single noise and steps upstairs. Plus, it would be great to have any additional space or small reception. it’s a modern type motel. "

"I loved Brookside Motor Inn! We had a lot of space--two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a small kitchen--for a super reasonable price. The decor is dated, yet I love that they use what they have instead of sending things to the trash and replacing them with newer versions. In this way, this hotel seems truly to practice sustainability. I also loved opening up the back door and seeing the creek--it is literally just steps away. I will definitely come back when I am in this area again!"

"This was a lovely place to stay while in the Adirondacks. It has been completely updated. It is VERY clean and has all the necessities. Dishes, dish soap, and paper towels in the kitchenette. We were very pleasantly surprised by how great this was. There was no staff on site so that was confusing at first because I missed the email with check in instructions but I called the number they provided and someone answered and helped us immediately. We will stay here again."
