The Trailhead by Weekender was a great hotel. Clean, centralized, and the staff were great. If you are visiting the Tupper Lake area I highly recommend it!!
We needed an off season place to drop in mid to late October. We settled in via the mobile check in to a spacious comfortable and clean room. It was better than some of our rooms at a national
Chain. No complaints. Value for money.
Very helpful and even helped bring our luggage up to the second floor room. Comfortable, convenient, breakfast has variety and easy to fix....beds and linens were great and amenities were Beckman Bro. Brand...lovely.
This motel was just right for our one- night stay. The room was spacious, quiet and clean, with fresh, fluffy towels in the shower. I like that the floor is not carpeted - gives a much cleaner appearance. The staff was very responsive when I called, and the electronic checkin/ checkout was smooth. Breakfast was adequate - coffee was good.
The size of the room was great. Beds were very comfortable. Parking was very convenient. We needed more lights in our room. Up lights do not give good lighting. We also didn’t have enough outlets near the sink.
Beds were comfortable, location was great, check in was easy and room was clean.
Internet on tv was inconsistent. Would work for a minute or 2 and then time out. This went on all night. Walls are very thin and we could hear our neighbors entire conversation. Thankfully we brought a sound machine so the kids could sleep. Room seemed smaller than what was pictured and the rooms up top when you first pulled in. Was a tight squeeze in comparison to our friends in another room.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
There was no staff. Curtain fell when we tried to get some outside light…. only one lamp in the whole room!
Tub caulking cracked and black with mildew
We could hear next door people talking.. thin walls?
There were some cold cereals, oj, milk , coffee, tea and fruit— but at 9:30 am it was all used up!
Bed was fine, pillows full. Convenient location
A solid, affordable option if you are planning to bike, hike, explore the Adirondacks. Beds are comfortable and room amenities serviceable. Walls are a little thin but in general everything is clean and well maintained. Farmers market with café very close on same side of road. The Wilde Center close enough for walk or bike to, or a quick 10 min drive.
Interesting property. The room was clean. The TV didn't work the first night. No sound. The next day, the owner did fix the sound. He was very pleasant and loved my husband's BAD jokes!!!
I would have liked to see some Brochures about things to do in the area as well as eating recommendations.
Over all we had a good trip.
We arrived after check-in and our door code wouldn't work. Had to call emergency #, they were helpful and got us into another room. Room was clean & pool was well maintained *

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
I appreciated the digital confirming and checking in process and being aware that I would also follow those directions for checkout by 11 AM. SO I WAS GREATLY ALARMED AND DISAPPOINTED TO HEAR KNOCKING AT MY DOOR AT 9 AM AND A MALE VOICEASKING IF I’M CHECKING OUT!!!??? I GUESS WHOEVER IT WAS WAS NOT FOLLOWING YOUR RULES!!
PROS: Convenient location. Spacious room and bathroom room. Comfortable bed. Welcoming lobby and nice continental breakfast selection. Reasonable price. With a few exceptions (noted below) the property seemed clean and maintained.
CONS: Checkin and checkout cumbersome especially with the poor cellular and wifi service in the location. Poor wifi at facility. Bathroom tile had too much mold. The mold indicated to me rushed housekeeping. The A/C vents and filter had layers of dust and dirt, again spotty housekeeping. Lastly, some of the furnishing appeared very dated and worn.
These things said, I would come back and stay again.

Liked: Property conditions & facilities
I liked being able to self check in and out without having to deal with a person. The take and go “breakfast” was poor though. Mini plain bagels, apples, granola bars and yogurt(strawberry only).besides that It was a great place for my one night stay.
