"Basic room but had everything we needed. Lovely helpful staff and the pool and breakfast were real winners for us. Very convenient for the shops and restaurants and only a five minute bus journey to the station. We thought it represented excellent value for money and will stay again."

"Arriving at the hotel we were welcomed at the front desk. Check in was quick & easy. Our room was excellent, so bright and with good views. It was also very roomy with a couch to sit and watch TV (if you wanted to). The bed was very comfortable. Overall a great stay."

"Took my best friend for her 70th birthday. Porters very attentive from the moment we arrived. Breakfast amazing. Bed was really comfortable. Brilliant position for Lanes and shops. One downside a bit mean with tea tray. Just 2 coffee sachets each. I know there was a coffe machine but know way how to work it. No information in the room re menus or about the hotel. As it was very expensive you would have thought we would have. Also very expensive drinks. Two drinks, a double whisky and lemonade and a double malibu and pineapple £36!!!to be fair i did know it would be expensive but that was obscene. Shame as couldn't justify staying and drinking in the hotel due to that price. Had twin room , no sea view but lovely room."
