We travelled with our dogs & they loved watching the world from the lanani as we enjoyed our morning coffee. One thing to beware of if someone visits with dogs, the old golf course is covered with beggar lice weed, so I would not recommend walking dogs in that area. "Wife & I, plus our dog...later, grandkids & kids visited for a week. Paid for pool heat and was comfy on cool days and was warm for the kids. Pool clean & well-maintained. Beautiful outdoor space (we lived all waking hours on the pool/patio), beautiful view of lake. The garage was set up as a game room for young kids (they loved), also floaties for pool. "no running water upon check in. Had to find someone to help with main water valve. Maintenance said it was not his job it was the owners (we could not get a hold of) still haven’t gotten any word from host. My husband had to find and dig up the main water line to turn it on! Thank god we checked in 30min prior, if it had been after hours I don’t know what we’d have done. I’m 6 months pregnant and we were traveling with a 3 year old. The check in is a long process as we had to go to one property management company and check in then stand in line to check in, then be told we could not get the final check in done until 4pm and it was 10 minutes till... so stand in line again at exactly 4pm to finally check in. "Saw previous review about animal smells in property. Spoke with property management company ahead of trip. They confirmed they had thoroughly cleaned and stated to reach out to them if there were issues with the property. Upon arrival at 11pm the smell of cat urine/feces was still very strong and carpets were wet from cleaning. "Can't say enough about the property itself. Innkeeper didn't miss a trick. Thought of practically everything to supply it with as well. Saved me multiple trips to the stores which btw are very near by. Pool was off season and being worked on so can't rate the waves for you but it definitely is just a short walk away. Now the Innkeeper herself was SuperChill and easy to work with. She's quick on the reply too .. Overall 5* experience.. Go for it !"

"Perfect for what we needed it for. The drive to the ocean wasn't terrible and this location puts you in the middle where you could drive to either side of the state within a few hours. It was clean, quite, neighbors were friendly, and helpful. The pool was nice, and not overly busy which made it relaxing.
