"Booked 2 bedroom suite. Air conditioning in one room only blew air. Very uncomfortable to stay in. Also towel rack in second bathroom fell off the wall and almost hurt my 13 year old son. "

The location is also magnificent. My only feedback is some of the beds could be replaced with more comfortable ones and the stove needs to be upgraded. With that said, our stay was fabulous. "We rented three properties from Al during our time on Hutchinson Island for a week's duration. Nirvana Shores, Restoration Sands, and Xanadu. All three were fantastic!! We came for a large family reunion with a mix of age ranges from toddlers all the way up to grandparents. Everyone was accommodated. I think the best part of it all was that there was very little we had to prepare for. The place was FULLY stocked (i really mean fully!!). If there are any issues, Al has helpers in the area who are merely a call away. We went in the rainy season, but that didn't really stop us from having a great time. Given that it's tropical rain, it came in bursts, so there were ample windows for us to get outside and have fun. We also had a covered pool area that we could access, which also helped! As far as food goes - kitchen was fully stocked (cooking seasoning, oil, cutlery, etc. etc.). There's a major chain grocery store just down the road as well, so pretty easy to restock on things. The area is generally quiet. All seem to be vacation homes with other families visiting. At the time we were there (again, a bit of a rainy time of the season), it was not crowded at all. Everyone had a fantastic time and are asking "can we come back here again?" Fantastic core memories made for the little ones. Highly recommend for a family get together. "

"As always, we had a great stay with Beach Houses in Paradise. The house had everything we needed and some. The beds were comfortable, and there are plenty of towels and linens. The location is amazing. My boys love going back and forth from the river to the ocean. My husband and I loved taking long walks to the inlet. Bathtub beach was just a short walk and we did that daily. We also enjoyed doing the many puzzles on rainy days. We can't wait to go back!"

"See the sunrise in the back on the ocean & see the sunset in the front on the river. The water is only a few steps from the house. It's the most well-equipped rental house we've ever stayed in! There are spices; an icemaker appliance; disposable plates, cups, & plasticware if you want to avoid dishes sometimes; dishwasher detergent & dishwashing soap; paper towels, napkins, kleenex, & toilet paper; beach towels; extra bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, & kitchen towels; each bathroom has a nice selection of toiletries for both men & women; bathrobes (not to take home) & slippers are provided for each guest (the nicer robes & slippers are in the master bedroom); bug repellant; wood for the firepit on the river is located under the tiki bar there along with lighters & bug repellant; the river beach has kayaks, paddleboards, a 2-seater water tricycle (that's quite the workout!), a gazebo with a tiki bar, firepit with Adirondack chairs, a comfy hammock (note: you have to walk thru a tunnel cut thru the sea oat trees to get to the gazebo, firepit, & hammock), & there's a long dock; the ocean beach has kayaks, paddleboards, & beach loungers; the garage is not for parking - it stores bicycles, waveboards, water shoes, life jackets, fishing poles & gear, coolers, beach games, ping pong table, metal detectors, workout equipment, & extra washer, dryer, frig, & icemaker; if it's too hot in the garage to play ping pong simply close the garage doors & turn on the air conditioner! Wow!!"
