Great hotel with amazing and friendly staff, always looking to go the extra mile for you. Room was the only mark down - just because it was quite small and the twin beds were touching each other; however this was the standard room. Spa facilities are great, highly recommend the hour massage.

Stayed here with husband for 4 nights from 4 November. Had a lovely room on the seventh floor with balcony overlooking the courtyard with settee and two matching chairs and low table at back as a separate sitting area. TV, coffee machine were on a unit in middle of room which also contained the mini bar. Safe in wardrobe unit. Had a loo and W/H basin, separate from the shower room which also had W/H basin. We didn't have breakfast included but on last morning decided to have this in hotel even although quite expensive. We enjoyed the treat as lots on offer and sorry we did not have room which included breakfast. Although cafes were close by suitable breakfast food was confined to croissants, pastries and sandwiches. Staff nice, meals served. Would highly recommend.

I like this place for lots of reasons: decent rooms, choice of pillows, comfortable beds, good showers, the onsite bistro, helpful staff, room service breakfast, and proximity to work and transportation. However, I find it difficult to recommend for tourists. I know it's only a 10 minute walk from Potsdamer Platz but, in the depths of winter, I'd rather it was a little closer to restaurants and activities - the bar serves only snack food and I just want a bit more on an evening. And in common with other Berlin hotels, they still have only two single duvets on large beds.

When I go away I don't do so to spend all my time in a hotel room, done enough of that with work. So the main criteria I look for are:
1 - Can I get a good night's sleep - Our room faced out on to a busy main road & right over the entrance yet we could barely hear a thing from outside.
2 - Is the shower any good - No complaints here. Almost as good as the one I have at home.
3 - Location - But for the fact we were delayed & it was dark & raining we could have easily found it on foot once off the bus (TXL) from Tegel Airport at Alexanderplatz but we opted for a taxi. Within easily walkable distance are the TV tower, Alexanderplatz, Checkpoint Charlie & Spittelmarkt U-Bahn station (line 2 - useful for the Olympic Stadium). A little further afield is the Brandenberg Gate. And if you go at Christmas time then there more markets than you can possibly ever visit.
4 - Easy access in the early hours - again no problem with this after a few nights out.
And finally the obvius one - price.
I can't fault this hotel on any of these points & the staff were polite & helpful throughout our stay as well. The hotel is modern, tidy & we had free access to wifi throughout our stay both in our room & in the bar. I would quite happily stay here again.
