“My very favorite hotel!”

My husband and I just visited Ventana Inn for the second time for our 10 year wedding anniversary! It had been about 7 years since we stayed there last and it was BETTER than we even remembered. This is definitely our kind of place - beautiful, relaxing, peaceful, and private - all while enjoying "rustic" luxury accomodations. Complimentary touches such as the wine and cheese hour and breakfast makes the room cost not seem so bad. And the restaurant on the property served the best dinner we've had in a long time. Can't think of one little complaint during out stay and we only wish we had stayed longer. We'll definitely be returning!

This is the perfect place to relax and unwind in an utmost serene and elegant atmosphere. I have never been in such quiet and beautiful surroundings. It is a very romantic and secluded place, and I wish I had stayed longer to take in all the beauty and the wonderful amenities the hotel had to offer.

They exceeded our expectations on every part of this special day for us...From the ceremony site, to the upgraded room accomodations, dinner arrangements, etc. Will be back to celebrate our 1st Anniversary!!!

Our hotel was really lovely. Especially if you like hiking or going on nice day trip drives. The rooms were beautiful. It is very secluded and quiet.

“Perfect getaway”

Everything was fantastic. Food in the main restaurant is average. Continental breakfast was excellent. Room was beautiful with very nice amenities.

“Couples get-a-way. Not for families”

Peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Staff was wonderful. Location great. Restaurant on premises was ordinary but many other restaurants in the vacinity. A shuttle at the hotel takes you to all restaurants in the area. No need to drive in the evening.

“pricey but worth it”

Everything about Ventana is first class, from the room, the service, the spa, and the food. Of course the setting at Big Sur cannot be beat. The main restaurant is still burned down, so you can only eat at the small restaurant they set up in the reception area, with no view, but the food is good. We were told they will begin rebuilding the restaurant this summer.
