Cardiff, Wales Hotel Rooms at the Independent

Stayed here for one night and found it perfect for what we wanted. Room on 5th floor above O'Neils and overlooking Prince of Wales so thought it would be very noisy but I didn't hear anything! Staff were friendly. Cannot comment on food as we ate out. Rooms were very modern.

Enjoyed our stay. Private car park and fairly quiet room (we were at the back of the building!)

Fantastic, treated like Royality. Bed was to die for. Breakfast excellent and service second to none

Stayed at the Sandringham on a Sunday night and was pleased by the cheap price. It certainly wasn't a 'it's cheap, what did you expect?' experience at all as everything was near perfect. The staff were absolutely lovely! So friendly, so informative and so welcoming. Would definitely recommend the hotel based on our welcoming if I'm honest. The room was small but spacious, the bathroom was decent sized and clean. We really appreciated the free Wi-Fi (Albeit, it wasn't the best connection or speed but it was free - no complaints!) The ONLY thing I noticed was a small stain on the duvet cover and one of the lightbulbs (of the 4 lights) had gone. Apart from that (which really didn't bother me), it was a fair price, a great location for seeing Cardiff in the day, such pleasant staff and exactly what you pay for.

Only stay for one night, but was impressed by the freshness of the decor and cleanliness of the room for such a low price hotel. Staff friendly and we had a good stay.

Apart from a few minor things that needed fixing in the room. And it was a bit far to the nearest shop. I enjoyed my stay and I was delighted with the service.

Over all stay was amazing. Bathroom had funny smell but was cleans. Lovely bed. Walls a little thin. Would stay again

The staff were very friendly and could not do enough to assist. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in and have stayed at a lot of hotels.
