"The scenery driving to this place was beautiful! So many hill country views and deer! The property itself was very nice and clean, I wish I had more time to spend there! A perfect weekend getaway. About 20 minutes from Kerrville and on a good day about 45 to SA. Perfect location to do a little both antiquing and storefront shopping."

Micky's and Vicky's place provided that retreat for us. Kitchen and laundry in house made everything easy. The ranch critters were all charming. I'm glad I took a full bag of carrots for all the furry hosts!"

"The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

"Great weekend getaway! Everything about the property itself was fantastic! We would love to visit in the summer so we can swim. Melanie the owner was great at communicating. It’s not far from Fredericksburg. Center Point , is a quiet town so will have to take day trips for exploring. "
