"This place is in the middle of it all, and a great place to shop, eat, tour, and within steps of going back to the room. It’s like a hidden gem, people do not realize it’s there and you just open the door and go right upstairs. Highly recommend this place, and Jeff’s (owner of this location) tour service was amazing too. He picks you up right outside the room, has great info about the area, and drops you back at the room at the end. His selection of wineries was great and enjoyed the wine tour...

"Greeted by the new owners, enjoyed a glass of wine while showing us the property and our room. We stayed in the prohibition room, bedroom was upstairs. Bed itself was a full, but sooooooooo extremely comfortable. Can’t wait to see all the new life brought into the place in the future!! Breakfast was AMAZING "

"The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

"Not a fan, wouldn't stay again. Stayed in the Alden Haus, suite 2. Room was clean, bed was pretty comfortable, bring a fan or something for sound because it is eerily quite at night plus you can hear the people in the other room (we could even hear them use the bathroom). They need better curtains, if your light is on when it's dark congrats everyone can see clear into your room! Hot tub area needs to be cleaned, I get it's an closed in area outside but it wouldn't hurt to dust or sweep it out...

"Our stay was very comfy !! It was an amazing couples getaway ! They went above and beyond to provide everything needed for a get away in the Texas hill country ! We had a personal fire pit for the cold evening ! Inside we had a comfy bed with an amazing view outside to all of the wild life !! Roaming free they had longhorns,ducks,chcikens,and black buck deer! Some of the key things that we had inside were fridge and freezer coffee maker large kitchen sink ! And a 4 in 1 air fryer /microwave!...
