"The room was very comfortable, quiet and clean. There is a shared bathroom for the floor, which was fine for us since only one other room was occupied. (I don’t know how that goes when the inn is full.) We did not take advantage of any of the other common areas (living room w/TV, sitting room). The entire house is beautifully decorated in the Victorian style, with lots of furniture, busy wallpaper, and decorative items on the shelves, dressers and side tables. It looked great, but I was afraid...

"Owner does not live onsite. Not 5 star clean but livable. Need to vacuum UNDER the bed and top of the four-poster bed had thick cobwebs wrapped around it. No flexibility for breakfast times or an offer of anything to grab and go. Room could have used a box of tissues and a full-length mirror. Two rooms have a fairly steep set of stairs to access them. "

"Rose was great and accommodating to us. Communication was great so if we needed to adjust the room temperature she was on it right away. The room was spacious and the bed was quite comfortable! Unfortunately we were up and out too early to have breakfast, but I have read great things about it! Overall, it was a peaceful stay and we had a great time in Maine. "

"Our host Marianne made our stay very relaxing. She is very accommodating and very responsive. We like to hike with our dog. The property is located near several hiking trails with varying degrees of difficulty. Our pup loved it. The cabin was also comfortable enough for us to leave him behind for a short time while we went out for some shopping. We would recommend this property to anyone with a pup who enjoys the outdoors but also likes quiet at night. "

"I loved the mountain views and amenities. The rooms are very outdated. Bathroom needs the most updating; the glass shower door fell on my while trying to get off the shower, luckily it did not break. I would stay with them again for the views/amenities but would love to see renovations done on the rooms and balcony."
