We spent 2 nights here during our leaf peeping fall road trip. The inn is 200 years old and so quaint. Our host was lovely. Our room was spotless. The bed was a bit too firm for our liking. I did mark down my rating for the amenities simply because there was no coffee in the room or in the lobby. Other that that, our stay was very nice and I would stay here again and would recommend the inn to my friends. The view was beautiful! T&J Smith

Overall maintenance was far below par, but had little effect on my stay. Staff interaction was confined to a perfunctory introduction, and failed to point out the thermostat (partially hidden by the door lock); first night was very cold. Generally old without being charming. C-/D+

A charming old (1805) inn with gorgeous views of the White mountains. Our Host was very attentive and breakfast was delicious.

Lovely inn! Great place to stay when exploring Lovell and the surrounding area. Looking forward to hearing that Rose is cooking again! Would absolutely return.

Rose was an excellent host ready to help when I needed it. The inn is lovely and they offer lots of amenities. My room was clean and very comfortable, I would stay again if in the area.

A Very Pleasant Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-day stay at the historic inn. And Rose is an outstanding chef. The breakfasts were especially a delight for us and the other couple traveling with us.

The Center Lovell Inn is so lovely! We only stayed for one night but I wish it were more. The room was comfortable and absolutely charming. It had everything we needed. The main Inn building was also very comfortable and homie. Breakfast was INCREDIBLE. Gardens on the grounds are outstanding and there is a gorgeous lit up outdoor area that would be wonderful day or night.

Need to stay here again!!!!

The stay was great, only one night, room very comfortable. Inn is exactly what they say on their website. The owners were very accommodating and provided a quick tour before I headed to my room. In the morning the views from my room were fabulous. The breakfast was exceptional. I’m sure in late summer/ fall the outdoor space would be very welcoming but I stayed mid November and it was a bit chilly.

Scenic location at reasonable price.

We stayed two nights for a friend's wedding nearby. Innkeepers were very nice. Complimentary gourmet breakfasts were as delicious as they were beautiful. We had other commitments for dinner both nights, or would have stayed for dinner there-it always smelled wonderful. Ask the Innkeepers how they acquired the Inn. Beautiful location, close to Fryeburg (big country fair).

Rose was great and accommodating to us. Communication was great so if we needed to adjust the room temperature she was on it right away. The room was spacious and the bed was quite comfortable! Unfortunately we were up and out too early to have breakfast, but I have read great things about it! Overall, it was a peaceful stay and we had a great time in Maine.

Since this was our first trip to Maine we got the overall feeling of how unique Maine is with the land, lakes and architecture. The Inn of Lovell gave us that natural experience. Our only negative would be when we came down for breakfast each day we would have liked some heat. We wore our coats to have an absolutely delicious meal. Rose was wonderful and a gracious hostess/owner. Hopefully, we will return soon.

Was disappointed that there was no offering for full breakfast and dinner as advertised. It is quite out of the way and quite a ways away from restaurants in Fryeburg !!!

The room was clean and beautiful, overlooking the white mountains. I guess I didn't read the fine print because we were expecting some dining option. Sylvesters for dinner and the Market for breakfast were not far away. The coffee/beverage bar in the lounge is extraordinary. Would've appreciated some cleaning attention to the windows and screens so we could've taken full advantage of the view. I know that upkeep of the place must be all-comsuming. The host was quite welcoming and attentive. We would definitely go back. The building and furnishings are fascinating.

This B&B is a delight and I hope to visit again. The room was well-appointed and clean. In particular, the bathroom was well-stocked with complimentary items, better than some major hotels I've stayed at. The manager greeted me and showed me to my room when I checked in, and provided keys to the room and front door. The door locks are somewhat troublesome to use. The bed was amazing. I do regret I couldn't accommodate their limited breakfast hours because I bet it was delicious. The property is well-kept and quite scenic. I would have loved to sit in the garden with a glass of wine, but I was only in the area for the night before continuing my travels. If you're in the area to visit Ebenzer's, this is the best place to stay, hands down. Rose is running a gem of a bed and breakfast.

Rose was a lovely host and a fantastic chef. Our breakfast was amazing. However, the house is old with heating controls outside of our room that controls the whole floor. The decor was questionable and not appropriate with naked women at in the bedroom and the dining room. Not our cup of tea. There was a Bambi weaved rug in our room that was very inconvenient for luggage and not comfortable to walk on I tried to take a picture of the sunset and the windows were too dirty to get a picture. It advertised that dinner was available but it was not and restaurants are at least 20 min. Away. The home is isolated in a small town with no amenities. We would not stay there again unfortunately because we really liked Rose.

There was zero communication from the facility. No confirmation, no text updates. No one answered the phone, no answering machine either. I wasn’t shown around when I arrived rather the owner briefly went thru their “book” and left. I referred to the “book” for breakfast times however no one ever offered or served a breakfast. The pictures on website are wayyyy outdated. The property needs alot of TLC. Interior needs an extreme deep cleaning. It smells really dirty. Not impressed at all. Actually very disappointed as I only frequent bed & breakfasts due to typically cleaner and more personal & friendly experience. I would not recommend this place.
